Our the last couple of years I have been slowly building a Dutch Army for the early period of the Dutch/Spanish 80 Year War. Ian Clark from Pro-Painted-by-Eye and Leroy Simpson has also played a large part in building this army. My only contribution has been the painting of flags and the basing of figures for the Baroque gaming system. I have played two battles thus far against the Spanish Tercios and both times the lads have taken are hard pounding but have stood the test of time well. I only have one for the mounted regiment to paint, one more artillery battery and a two more random command stands to spice up the battlefield. Hopefully, I will have the full army completed in the next couple of weeks in preparation for another showdown with the Spanish. Until then please enjoy the images.

Just lovely!
Thanks for the comments everyone. I am happy to read that you like the figures. Foundry figures never seem to age.

They look terrific – love the flags.
Like the basing, paint job, and period. When you throw down against Spanish again I would love to see the game photos.
Cheers

I agree, lovely as usual and any battle action photos would be great next time the Spanish make the table. Great stuff Nathan.
