Always looking for another little project (the curse of the hobby), I decided to paint up some Empress Miniatures Royal Navy Shore Party lads. The Shore Party has three different packs, with a total of 12 poses (four per pack). There is one command pack (which includes a Lewis Gun team) and two other packs (one with sailors advancing and the other with Sailors skirmishing). The figures are very nicely sculpted and were very easy to paint.
Although these lads may not feature in the majority of my games, I do intend to use them for our club’s planned ‘Sealion’ campaign sometime this year.
