Vietnam era Australian and New Zealand (ANZAC) Infantry Special Weapons pack, includes figures using the Owen Sub Machine Gun (SMG) and M79 Grenade Launcher. One of the Owen gun figures is based upon Corporal Buddy Lea. Includes four different figures.

The Owen gun was used by scouts and NCO’s in the earlier period of the Vietnam War and gradually replaced by the M16. The Owen was the only Australian-designed and built service submachine gun of WW2 and used by the Australian Army from 1943 until the mid-1960s. The M79 Grenade Launcher was known as the Wombat gun by Kiwi troops.

The figures are cast in high-quality pewter 28mm and are supplied unpainted. Suitable for the Vietnam War.
