Well, I finally achieved the almost impossible…..I finished painting a bunch of figures within four weeks of purchasing them. It is amazing what can be achieved with a little time off work.
The new collection combines Crusader, Artizan, and Blacktree Design Miniatures for my Early War German Chain of Command project.
The Platoon consists of three rifle sections (10 men), a PHQ, a pioneer squad, an MMG Team, an Infantry gun, a 5cm mortar team, AT rifle team, and a few extra leftover figures, plus a Line of Communication marker.
The armour support is from Leroy Simpon’s excellent collection, and they are all 1/48 scale to match the slightly larger figures. The background terrain is from the excellent Battlefield Accessories terrain collection.
