Another project completed, I have finally completed my Fallschirmjager Platoon for Chain of Command. The figures have been painted by Brad Smith and Ian Clarke, however I have touched up the flesh a little and rebased them to match my other collections. Quite happy with the final product as they are all from the very nice Perry Miniatures WWll range.

In total there are three squads, Command and support weapons… a few lads with FG42’s. They figures have been painted and based for either the Tunisian, Sicilian or early Italian campaigns….however, I am currently reading a book called ‘Churchill’s Folly’ by Anthony Rogers which is based on the Battles for Kos and Leros in 1943…..the German Fallschirmjager played a significant part of the battles and even made a few jumps. Sounds like a few Chain of Command gaming scenarios ideas coming up from that book.

Anyway I have enjoyed putting these lads together and I hope in the next few weeks I will be able play a few games with them. Until them please enjoy.
