Anglo – Egyptian Skirmish – 1882

Last Wednesday night two of the boys (Terry Moran and John Fulton) play tested the Egyptian Army list for Andrew Parr’s Colonial rules ‘Breach Loader and Rifle’. Both sides having roughly 760pts each, which included infantry, cavalry and artillery. 

The British fielded three line companies, two Elite Highlander companies, a cavalry squadron and an artillery section.

On the the Egyptian side were five line infantry companies, two irregular companies, two cavalry and an artillery section.

Egyptian regulars fend off their British counterparts. The British were shot down before actually reaching the Egyptians.
