When I first saw these figures arrive in the post I knew straight away they were perfect to add to the good old Afghan Army for the North West Frontier. However, these fantastic figures are actually from Westfalias’ Miniatures Napoleonic range. They are also available however through Empress Miniatures in their Jazz Age Imperialism range. But I think they would be perfect in either the 1st or 2nd Afghan War and possibly a little later?

The figures have been painted and based by our fantastic local painter Leroy Simpson. They make a great addition to his already great Afghan Army. Being mounted on camels makes these lads very flexible in the mountainous terrain of the North West Frontier so my British had better watch their flanks.

Great work mate.
They look superb!
I wonder what the camels reaction was when the gun went off !?, Tony
Cotton wool in their ears I would say…..
Thansk for the comments fellas I will pass them on to Leroy.

Nice work! I wouldn't want to be that camel though.
