Last weekend and over the Christmas, New Year’s break, our little club decided to have a TFL day with two games of Chain of Command and finished with a great game of What a Tanker. On the first table, Dave and Harrison played a North Africa Campaign game with lads from the DAK and 8th Army battling it out in the hot sun. Dave finally overcame the stubborn 8th Army lads with a vicious round of hand-to-hand combat, killing the British Platoon Commander and winning the game.
Tim and Terry battled it on the second table on the Eastern Front. Terry’s Russian lads also fought hard but, in the end, they were not able to counter all the German armour, though the KV1 certainly put the fear of God up the Germans.
Our last game, as mentioned was a fantastic game of What a Tanker. The Germans under the command of Tim and Harrison played hard, but the Russians under myself, Dave, and Terry played harder. The highlight of this game was my little T34 ramming the King Tiger. Both tanks were destroyed however it took the big girl out of the game.
