just thought I would post a few images of the Chain of Command we played a few weeks ago. Dave and Terry conducted a flank attack on John and me. Dave and Terry fielded a US Airborne force with supporting tanks and US Infantry. John and I had a platoon of German Paratroopers with an SP in support.
The game played well, with the Germans able to hold off the US forces and eventually break their morale, though it was a very close game. The Germans suffered heavy losses to their teams and junior leaders, but the US paratroopers lost three of their junior leaders and a half-track, which ultimately ended the game.
The US forces were from Dave’s lovely collection, and the German forces are from John’s lovely collection.
Great game and lovely visuals! Would love to see a video battle report if you’re up for it.
Thanks again Elliot, videos would be good but unfortunately time is limited due to work and family commitments these days……hopefully one day if I ever get the chance to retire I might start.
